The Optimate O-40S SAE is a weatherproof SAE contact intended for dashboard/panel mounting. After mounting, you have an SAE input/contact to which you can connect a cable with an SAE plug. The O40S is the shorter version of the O40. The O40S has a short cable behind the dashboard/panel (15 cm long, the Optimate O40 has a cable of 100 cm length behind the dashboard).
Mounting
Mounting this accessory is explained on its packaging. Required is at least an 18 mm hole in the dashboard/panel or bulkhead. The panel thickness must be at least 1 mm.
